Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC)
INTRODUCTION
A Grievance Redressal Policy is designed to ensure that any complaints or concerns raised by customers, employees, or other stakeholders are addressed fairly and promptly, reinforcing trust and transparency within the organization. It defines a grievance as any dissatisfaction related to services, workplace conditions, or procedural issues and sets out a clear, multi-level process for resolution
COVERAGE
The policy applies to all members of the institution/organization community, including:
- Students
- Teaching and non-teaching staff
- Administrative staff
- Other stakeholders directly associated with the institution/organization
Grievances may relate to academic matters, administrative services, workplace concerns, discrimination, harassment, or any other legitimate issue affecting the complainant.
OBJECTIVE OF GRC CELL
- To provide a fair and transparent mechanism for addressing grievances of students, faculty, and staff.
- To ensure a prompt and impartial resolution of complaints related to academic, administrative, or personal matters.
- To create a safe, supportive, and confidential environment where stakeholders can freely express their concerns without fear of retaliation.
- To uphold principles of justice, equity, and dignity in all grievance-handling processes.
- To promote accountability and trust between the institution/organization and its
stakeholders.
- To resolve concerns at the earliest possible stage through open and constructive communication
- To maintain harmony and discipline within the institution/organization by addressing conflicts effectively.
- To continuously review and improve grievance redressal mechanisms for better efficiency and fairness.

Procedure of Grievance Registration:
- Mode of Submission
- Grievances may be submitted in two ways:
- Online Submission: Through the institution’s official grievance redressal portal
- Offline Submission: By dropping a written grievance into the Grievance Drop Box available in the college premises.
- Grievances may be submitted in two ways:
- Details to be Provided
- Name, enrolment/employee ID, and contact details of the complainant.
- A clear description of the grievance with relevant facts, dates, and supporting documents (if any).
- The preferred resolution or relief sought.
- Confidentiality
- All submissions will be treated with strict confidentiality.
- Anonymous complaints may also be considered if adequate information is provided.
- Processing
· Online grievances and offline grievances from the drop box will be collected and recorded frequently by the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC)which will review the matters and provide appropriate solutions.”
